Perhaps you’re feeling like your life is slipping out of your hands.

What Does Therapy Look Like?

  • We Gather Background Information

Together, we examine situations where anger got the best of you. Was it at work? Was it with your wife? Maybe you find yourself exploding at your kids.

We also look at your life experiences. What was your home like growing up? What is work like?

Using all this information, we find the root of your anger. Or, the why of your anger.

  • We Reprocess the Anger

Using EMDR - eye movement desensitization and reprocessing - we begin calming tools to your frustrations.

EMDR often provides rapid relief to anger creating and a more calm response to life’s frustrations.

  • You Manage Your Emotions

After EMDR, you’ll learn how to manage frustrating interactions with those in your life.

You’ll have new ways to approach your wife, kids, and co-workers. You’ll be in control rather than having your anger control you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The honest answer is “it depends”. Most people see real change in 4 to 5 sessions. At the end of the day, my goal is to work myself out of a job with each client. That’s how I get so many referrals. New clients. Not the same clients for years.

  • Anger management is tough to get a handle on by yourself. You need an outside, unbiased perspective to see what is driving the anger. Your wife, kids, co-workers, and friends are going to be protecting their relationship and not fully sharing their thoughts. A counselor can sit in that awkward space, to be honest about your anger.
